DOCTOR/OWNER
Dr. Sonda graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri in May 2005.
From the very beginning of school she knew she wanted to care for pregnant mothers and their children.
Dr. Sonda began her advanced studies for pregnancy & children through the ICPA program and through this she found her passion for proper neurodevelopment from a young age as well as helping mothers who may be struggling with breastfeeding or bottle issues. Many do not realize how strong of a connection latching issues can relate to later delayed or skipped milestones. Dr. Sonda is constantly expanding her knowledge to help young families get their infants and toddlers on the right track from the very beginning, which also includes prior to conception.

When not in the office Dr. Sonda’s full attention is focused on her husband, 3 kids, 2 dogs and helping at her parents’ family farm. All of the Powell children play homeschool basketball which finds them traveling to cheer them on. When they get a free weekend, they also enjoy taking their camper to a nice quiet place for some ghost stories and s’mores by a campfire.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Riley Powell is a dedicated chiropractor known for compassionate, results-driven care. Early in practice, Dr. Powell focused on treating athletic injuries, but quickly discovered a passion for supporting families—especially pregnant mothers and infants—on their journey to better health.
Certified in the Webster Technique and spinal decompression therapy, Dr. Powell combines evidence-based methods with a deeply personal approach to care. Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Powell regularly trains in new techniques to provide the most effective and gentle care possible for patients of all ages.
Whether you're an athlete, a mom-to-be, or simply seeking better health for your family, Dr. Powell is here to help you move, feel, and live better.
When not in the office, Dr. Riley enjoys keeping up with his 3 children, and Amazing Wife while making time to volunteer at his children’s school and church

Doctor Lauran Click graduated from OU in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2021.
Doctor Lauran loves to care for all members of the family, including the ones with fur, claws, hooves, and paws! Shortly after graduating chiropractic school, Doctor Lauran became a part of the cIVCA (International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.) She loves to treat pets and animals with her chiropractic expertise.
Doctor Lauran decided to pursue a chiropractic career due to her love of people and her desire for them to receive the medical/physical care that they need.
When not at work, Doctor Lauran loves spending time with her beautiful daughter and beloved husband!

CHIROPRACTIC ASSISTANT
Winona Long graduated from Bacone College in Muskogee with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science. She is originally from Twin Lakes, NM.
Winona started working with Optimal Health and Wellness in June of 2023 and is a vital part of the team. Things would not run nearly as smooth without Winona on staff.
Winona’s favorite parts about working at Optimal Health and Wellness are her co-workers.

When not being Doctor Sonda’s right-hand-woman at the office, Winona loves to go thrift/antique shopping, spending time with her family in New Mexico and her family here in Oklahoma!

OFFICE MANAGER
McKenzie grew up in Cleveland, OK and moved to Tulsa shortly after she graduated high school. She began working for Powell Chiropractic in 2010 while she was attending college. McKenzie graduated from OSU in 2014 with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a minor in Human Resources.
In the office, McKenzie is a jack-of-all-trades and is happy to help in any area she can, including scheduling, insurance benefits, billing, or payment plans.
If you don’t have any questions, she is open to snuggling your baby while you get adjusted too! When she is not in the office, McKenzie likes to spend time with her husband and son and her fur baby, Winston.
